Payments & transfers

I have a question about a payment. How can I contact support?

You can contact Bankario Support directly through the app or by email at support@bankario.io. Please do not contact banking partners directly, as Bankario Support is best placed to investigate and assist you.

My funds are missing or have not arrived.

Contact Bankario Support and we will investigate the payment. If you sent funds from another bank, please request a Trace ID for ACH payments or an IMAD for wire payments from your sending bank. This helps us locate the transaction faster.

When will my funds arrive?

ACH transfers usually take 1–3 business days. Same Day ACH transfers sent before the daily cutoff may arrive the same business day. Wire transfers are usually processed the same business day if received before the cutoff time.

What is the minimum amount I can send or receive?

Minimum and maximum limits may vary by payment method, account type, currency, and region. You can view applicable limits inside your Bankario account before confirming a transaction.

Where do I enter the memo or reference?

When sending a payment, enter the memo in the Memo, Reference, or Message to Recipient field, depending on your bank. If you are unsure, contact your sending bank before making the transfer.

My bank does not recognize the routing number. What should I do?

Some banks may not immediately recognize newer routing numbers. Please contact your bank and ask them to verify the routing number through official banking lookup systems. If the issue continues, contact Bankario Support.

Does Bankario provide SWIFT codes?

Bankario USD virtual accounts currently support ACH and U.S. domestic wire transfers. They do not currently support SWIFT payments.

Can I send money internationally?

You can send money using the payment methods available in your account. Supported countries, currencies, and payment rails may vary depending on your region and account type.

Why is my transaction pending?

Transactions may remain pending while being processed by banking networks, card networks, compliance reviews, or the receiving financial institution. Processing times vary depending on the payment method.

Is there a fee to receive money?

Receiving funds generally does not incur a payout fee. However, applicable currency conversion fees may apply where a conversion takes place.

Accounts & verification

What transactions can I receive into my virtual account?

Supported incoming transactions may include first-party payments from your own bank account, eligible business payments, payroll payments, and certain third-party payments, depending on your country, account type, and compliance status.

How do microdeposits work?

If another service sends microdeposits to verify your Bankario account, the amounts or verification code may appear in your transaction details once received. Microdeposits can take up to 1 business day to arrive.

Plaid is asking for a 3-letter code. Where can I find it?

The 3-letter verification code is usually included in the transaction descriptor of the microdeposit. Check the transaction details inside your Bankario account.

Can I receive my salary into my Bankario account?

Where supported, you may receive payroll payments directly into your Bankario account using your account details. Availability depends on your country, account type, and compliance status.

Why do I need to verify my identity?

Identity verification helps us comply with applicable laws and protect our customers from fraud, money laundering, and financial crime.

Can my account be restricted?

Yes. We may temporarily restrict certain account features while conducting security or compliance reviews, verifying information, or complying with applicable legal or regulatory obligations. Once the review is complete, eligible account functionality will be restored where appropriate.

Which countries does Bankario support?

Availability depends on your country of residence and applicable regulations. Supported countries are shown during onboarding.
